About Us
Nehru Park is a big park in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave. The park, named after India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is located across an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2) and was established in 1969. In commemoration of the recently dead Nehru, Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri lay the foundation stone in 1965. The park is one of New Delhi's most well-known attractions and a lovely place to spend a sunny winter afternoon. A must-see attraction for anybody visiting the city.
