About us

Bholanath Borooah College was founded in 1943 with the name Bholanath Borooah. They grew up in the shadow of WWII and a nationalistic struggle against foreign power. The goal of the Borooah College Computer Centre is to provide students with basic computer skills as well as certified courses in computer basics and computer languages. The College Canteen operates efficiently to provide subsidised food to college students and other college communities. They also feature a well-equipped gymnasium hall with cutting-edge equipment. Cricket, football, badminton, basketball, boxing, tennis, judo, bodybuilding, and table tennis are among the sports offered at B. Borooah College's Physical Education Department.
